Next time you review your website analytics, check out the mobile devices your visitors have used to access your website in the past year and take note because this number will keep growing. Smartphones, tablets, and now phablets are quickly becoming a lot more commonplace, and your online strategy needs to accommodate for that.
As a follow-up to our Mobile websites vs Responsive Design post, the infographic by Uberflip explains the key benefits and success cases for a responsive website design. If you want a demo of responsive web design in action, you can access PureDriven’s website on your phone vs. your tablet to see how the same information automatically adjusts to fit the proportions of the screen.
One thing is certain if you are looking to increase your site exposure this year a mobile friendly approach by incorporating a responsive web design is something that cannot be ignored.

This is a great infographic to share with clients who have new website projects. One point I would have liked to have seen added to this infographic is that Google does give mobile sites a little more attention in the local search markets. This can move the needle for some small businesses by giving them a higher position.
Thanks for the comment, you make a good point. We generally reccomend mobile sites for websites because of the growing number of smartphone users. We recently wrote a post on it here: http://www.puredriven.com/mobile-websites-vs-responsive-design/
